Dezigntechnic created a unified wayfinding strategy for Dubai Healthcare City after a through analysis of the vehicular and pedestrian circulation, the masterplan, different user types and their corresponding wayfinding behaviors. The signage design takes inspiration from the brand logo, and  uses the leaf forms to build signage installations. The changing colors of leaves were incorporated in the wayfinding system to represent specific functions of the signs while the movement of leaves and how they are oriented are used for directional signage.

With efficient clustering and numbering strategy, the area was divided into zones to facilitate efficient route-finding. Monument signs were designed and positioned at the primary and secondary entrances to serve as landmarks for visitors. Parking lot signage identifies different zones and facilitates seamless parking within the parking space. Hierarchy of information is maintained on signage to help users visually understand the priority of messages. Instantly recognisable leaf-shaped, simple and consistent pictograms are designed to mark facilities and amenities.
