University of Birmingham, Dubai Campus, is renowned for changing lives and transforming society. The campus is one of the top 100 global settings licensed by the Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE. Behind these achievements, remains a labyrinth of spaces and faculties that together act as world-famous educational strongholds. Dezigntechinc recently created a wayfinding system that would give this campus a cohesive makeover, fusing dynamic spaces with user needs. 

The exterior signage of the campus was customized to enhance visibility and accessibility. Monumental entrance signs helped guide vehicles from a distance. Strategically placed drop-off and building identification signs facilitated the navigational needs of students and visitors alike. Inside, functionality joins hands with aesthetics, with the introduction of braille-compliant room identifiers, lift directories and elegant reception signs. The ideal goal was to help users navigate the campus with ease while enhancing their overall experience in this educational setting.

In a nutshell, the project by Dezigntechnic was a vision realized with precise execution. The signage transformed the campus into an epitome of functionality and style. Rather than relying on intuition and familiarity with space, the novel wayfinding system delivered visual cues and precise directions, something essential for an establishment as eminent as The University of Birmingham, Dubai.
