Dezigntechnic crafted a seamless wayfinding strategy for Uptown Dubai, aligning with its environment and architecture. By analyzing the typical journey from the main road to Uptown Dubai, we shaped a wayfinding design that enhances navigation and user experience. Our objectives focus on user-centric navigation, delivering clear information at decision points for efficient vehicular journeys, and integrating visually distinct elements for pedestrians and vehicles. The signage design draws inspiration from the desert's beauty, emphasizing palm leaves, integrated into the landscaped areas as functional navigation aids and sculptures at the grand drop-off area. These signs feature dark aluminum structures with illuminated graphics and engraved patterns, incorporating polycarbonate sheets that can change color with LEDs, creating a dynamic and engaging wayfinding experience. Map directory signs, conveniently placed throughout the plaza, provide essential information about nearby amenities, seamlessly integrated into the flooring with aluminum graphics and silver trim. Emphasizing clarity, user experience, and distinctiveness, the system elevates navigation and the plaza's aesthetic, leaving a lasting impression of Dubai's modern urban landscape.
