Dezigntechic designed an immersive wayfinding system for Antarah Rock Land Development, blending authenticity with functionality. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, the team analyzed movement patterns, master plans, and visitor profiles to elevate the user experience. Rooted in the site's history and environment, the system derives inspiration from the site’s architecture, interiors, and landscape, interweaving threads of poet Antarah Ibn Shaddad's life story, echoing his journey through symbolic scars and cuts. The pictograms ingeniously references Antarah's arsenal, employing his spear's arrowhead as inspiration for arrow-shaped pointers, capturing its essence with an abstract aesthetic. Engraved wall signage illuminated by warm white LEDs showcases a inventive design, combining clarity with an inviting warmth, while the amenity identification sign seamlessly blends artistry and function with bent aluminum sheets that mirror regional elements. Integrating elements of the environment, architecture, and Antarah's story, the wayfinding system enhances the site's identity, enriching visitors' experiences.
